Hookies!!!
Alright, so there is nothing like coming home from a long day of work and being reminded why you do it day in and day out. Logan is such a light in our lives. Whenever we think it can't get any worse, he always reminds us why we do it: for him. I will let the video explain most of it, but Logan got a Wookie toy at McDonalds some time ago. He re-discovered it under the seat of my car this evening and was very excited about his "Hookie" toy.

Toy Story Blog
I realized I referenced a prior Toy Story blog in my last post. Rather than edit that part out I decided to re-post this blog from my MySpace as well. This is from Octber 2005 (Logan was almost a year and a half old).
"Okay so I have now watched the Toy Story Dvd 7 times in the past 74 hours...I even tried hiding the box of the DVD, but my son found it with his baby radar and brought it (well..threw it at me actually) to me to watch AGAIN. Any ideas on where I can shove Woody and Buzz?"
So you can see why I didn't want a brand spankin new, mint condition copy of this movie.

Ahh, Logan (and my first post).
So I know this is my first blog and I should come up with something original, but the following event inspired me to blog in the first place so I am going to copy and paste it here. If you read it on MySpace, sorry but you'll just have to read it again or come back later. Before I copy and paste it, I have started blogs before and never followed through so there is no guarantee I will this time. However, Logan is more and more hilarious every day and I feel like I should be keeping record of his growth somehow plus all of the other hilarity that ensues in our lives.
Onward.
So I got up with Logan this morning (I'm trying to earn brownie points with Chris so that he will take me the Gorge next summer to see DMB ) and he wanted to watch a movie. SO he dug out his old Disney DVD binder from when we were members of the Disney Movie Club.
I have to stop here for a back story.
About two months ago I took Logan to Best Buy to pick a movie as a reward for sleeping in his new big boy bed for one whole week. We were browsing through the movies and he kept picking movies I didn't think he was ready for (i.e. The Incredible Hulk, granted I didn't want to pay $15 bucks for the peice of junk movie either.). Then we came across the discounted Disney Movie rack. I tried to convince him to get a new copy of Finding Nemo (which was watched to distruction) instead of a new copy of Toy Story (see previous Toy Story blog for explaination). He kept telling me he already had Nemo and I kept telling him it doesn't work anymore, yada yada. Well to make a long story short we came home with Spider Man 1.
Cut back to this morning. Logan opens his DVD binder and is looking through it while I get his breakfast ready. This is an actual quote from our conversation:
Logan: Mooooooooooommmmmmm!!! ugh!
Me: Yes, Logan?
Logan: What is this!!? (hold up the Nemo Dvd) I TOLD you I already had this one! Remember a long time ago when you tried to MAKE me buy it again?! I had it already and you tried to TRICK me!!
Me: (hysterical laughter and then) I didn't trick you, buddy. You have the disc but it doesn't play well.
Logan: Whatever.
Me: (jaw dropping silence and then) What did you say?
Logan: (sighs like he always has to explain himself to simpletons) I SAID "Whatever" like..whatever you say, mom. ugh!
So OMG when did my 4 year old become 13?!
Anyway, the whole thing was just tooo funny not to blog about. Hope I didn't bore some of you to death, but I think most of you will get it.
